Anxiety is defined as uneasiness, worry or nervousness, extreme or abnormal apprehension, and mental distress marked by sweating, tension or a heightened pulse rate. These symptoms occur in “Generalized Anxiety Disorder”, where triggers result from early trauma. One key thing to remember is that your thoughts are often exaggerated. Although the symptoms are very real, sometimes we can be so creative that we dramatize and overthink, distorting actual factual events. If you hear someone speak during an “attack”, they represent situations as a lot better or worse than they are. Should you feel your emotions spinning out of control at times, look at this list and see what resonates. It’s important to have reminders like these because we don’t always have a support team. As someone who has suffered a panic attack and gotten lost on a bus my first year of college, I definitely understand. It can be a real challenge for starseeds, who are becoming increasingly more sensitive on a planetary level, with their extra-sensory abilities (especially when located in a big city)!
1) Choose the word “PEACE” as your word-of-the-year. Using affirmations or meditations can change your thought-attraction as quickly as 17 seconds. So instead of figuring out the next 365 days, just choose one goal for your year, and that could be anything that gets you closer to peace. Maybe you will choose to meditate for 10 minutes a day, get a hippie bumper sticker, or eliminate drama. I like to draw peace-signs everywhere and have made this my personal emblem. This reminds me to also consume less caffeine and more magnesium. I’ve also started to relax before bedtime because of that focal point.
2) Create a self-care box or altar. Some people turn breath-mint tins into mini shrines where they keep good juju (think rose quartz crystals, palo santo, lavender oil, childhood toys and photos of loved ones). For you, this could also be a section of your home where you instantly feel more relaxed- the colors are just right, your humidifier is clean and you put effort into your own eye candy. When we have clean table-tops or make actual physical space for ourselves, our minds get more creative, rather than sighing because there’s “something more to clean.” If you have a lot of clutter, display the most important items that really make you feel good (faeries are attracted to what YOU are most attracted to, especially creativity-gnomes). Give away what you don’t need and honor your sensitivity.
3) Visit “Ascension Symptoms Support Group” on Facebook. Every day, someone is posting their current energy status, and there is zero spamming, only love and light. Although I’m currently off that social media, that’s been my go-to spot since the beginning. You’ll notice you’re not alone and by taking the time to boost someone else, you’ll automatically get more energy into your system and align your brain.
4) Do a tedious, focused activity (which has been called “self-help” since the 80s). For a moment, you’ll distract yourself and get something done to feel accomplished. My favorite is choosing what beads to play with, stringing them onto a colorful yarn and tying a knot. This brings your inner awareness to your body and relaxes you to breathe again: inhale, hold, exhale. (If you need help with regulating your breath and heart, get the Dan Winter smart phone app called : HeartsRing HRV-Breath-Biofeedback EMPATHY TRAINING for $19.99.)
5) Research Medical Magic Mushrooms where it is allowed. I’ve only met two people who have healed themselves from depression and anxiety with medical mushrooms, but their behavioral changes were intense to witness. The other of these two young men was more successful, because he developed a healthy lifestyle in addition to microdosing, while the other remained in an abusive relationship and continued drinking alcohol heavily during parties. Several news articles are popping up now, on how psychotropics can heal the mind. Also, should you want insight and understanding to what people in the world are doing, read https://www.erowid.org/ “reports.” (If this is too trippy, just remember your vitamins and to eat well, while checking out my blog article: 7 Solutions for Optimal Eating and Wellness.)
6) Take inventory of your environment or recent visits. Sometimes mediumistic people can be in locations where there is intense spiritual activity. When I began training in mediumship and psychic ability, ironically, I attended a school that was built on an old graveyard. Then, I moved into a dorm-apartment with earthbound-spirit-memory residue. To this day, a lot of that energy remains a mystery, but it’s important to look into local history or tune into your intuition when deciding where you want to eat and sleep. Sometimes, just going into a haunted place can cause a big shift in your energy, or if you are around someone who is going through a hard time. Mostly, the energies you feel on Earth have nothing to do with you and you are not responsible for everyone else!
7) Speak, hear yourself and learn to feel. To instantly de-stress, people need to hear themselves speak. Women especially need this to regulate their oxytocin (an endogenous peptide which is linked to emotional bonding in partnerships). It can help you to record video, do a live broadcast, call someone you trust, or pay for a mini therapy session. Journaling is also great and people will sometimes do this as a morning and/or night routine. Alternatively, doodling and listening to your favorite music should do the trick, so blast the lo-fi ASMR Llewellyn chillhop (that’s my invention).
The Fifth Element (1997) – Luc Besson – During a cosmic battle between Bruce Willis and evil, enters a divine, “supreme” being, and yes she is female. Set in the future, a priest must preserve the ancient secrets of the keepers of great knowledge called the Mondoshawan. The reason this movie is so important is that since ancient times, priests have kept sacred records for advanced civilizations visiting Earth, and this connection to the extraterrestrials is clearly displayed here. (The soundtrack is other-worldly, guys.) It is an extremely humorous adventure where an ex-military teams up with Chris Tucker and Milla Jovovich, escaping pea-brained warlords serving Zorg Industries. There’s a je ne sais quoi here, a realness- not Milla’s hair-bleaching process that caused her to wear an orange wig, rather, the friendly floating Chinese-food boat, the cops who eat McDonald’s even in hover-cars and the Post-Y2K Pan Am babeliciousness! Nothing is as creative as Gary Oldman answering to black goo threatening the rule of a black American president! You’ll see how the love of money corrupts a guy with the coolest pastel-goth pet and the importance of honoring your soulmate.
Amélie (2001) – Jean-Pierre Jeunet – Possibly the most ASMR of narrators, André Dussollier describes the quiet life of an innocent adventurer, Audrey Tatou, who finds magic in the smallest of places: holding grains, skipping rocks, spying on an old painter through the window. We see her being the observer who decides to become an actress in her own play- why not play matchmaker, do-gooder and avenger all-in-one? Then, her #unexpectedturnon is the autistic-seeming Nino, relief being felt when Amelie gets something for herself. At the same time, we realize life is truly a balance between helping others and serving yourself , which you’ll want to do after watching this. The beautiful saturated colors of the protagonist’s home, red and green, feel like a second gnome-home. It’s art that lifts your spirit like a decafe ole’ in hipster France, removing fear of “other.” Mutual joy results from understanding another being and hearing their fears, heartbreaks, and triumphs. In life we are mean to connect with our neighbors, maintain culture, and make sure we are fully breathing in every moment.
Extraordinary: The Stan Romanek Story (2017) – I saw the original movie and read his book called “Messages.” This guy is the real deal and his story is known as the “world’s most documented documented extraterrestrial contact story”, where he has over 195 pieces of evidence. These include: waking up with strange symbols on the body; E.T.s caught on tape (in the window); strange men appearing out of a non-existent company car to fix his walls; phone-calls from hybrid children; a normal wife’s side of the story; government mischief; channeling Aramaic; passing out; descriptions of humanoid-greys that came through a portal in Orion. When I showed this to some people I was hanging out with, they made jokes and felt super uncomfortable, but I knew it got to them. Not everyone is mentally ready for the truth, but if you are, this will shake you in a good way more than Go Ask Alice did. Check this one out where the dimension changes:
This is very empowering for starseeds to watch. Some downloads you have been getting will make more sense, and you’ll understand how third-dimensional thinking is yearning to expand but the physical mind is still very afraid. Spiritual people will love this movie if they are interested in their own contact experiences and will see themselves A LOT better.
Malcolm X (1992) – Spike Lee – These days every millennial should have had experiences with racism and the devastating corruption the African diaspora has been up against. Although most of my readers and viewers are extremely upset by this topic, they will feel guidance knowing about one of our greatest heroes. The best leaders, thinkers and change-makers have come out of strife and grown stronger, creating foundations for mass movements throughout history. They had different methods to do good things, and the world opened up because of them. You need to know “Red’s” story, because it’s one of unification and truth, a third-eye opener which Lee has exquisitely portrayed in yet another masterpiece (besides 67 films within 28 years equaling 2 and a half movies a year!!!!). Denzel Washington sends kathara template layer chills up your spine as he moves a finger to direct an extremely organized method to freeing an innocent youth from prison (to which I hear Kanye West rapping, “no one man should have all that power”, quoting cowardly supremacists during the U.S. Civil Rights Movement). You will understand important facts from the autobiography- about serving your community and living your own truth, the Nation of Islam, the importance of study and enhancing your mind, why people are changed by speech and finally, the desperate need for modern inter-racial cooperation on the whole planet. Love is the only truth and this is what he taught us in the short time he spent incarnating here.
The Secret – Rhonda Byrne [& Paul Harrington]– Most people on this planet have dealt with spirits of death, transition and the unknown. It can be quite a scary time. We live in an information age, where people are slowly opening their subconscious minds. There is a need for clarity and knowing “what is real”, and what is revealed here is a great piece of knowledge which has affected millions upon millions of of self-help students: the Law of Attraction. If you have heard of channeling, you will know of Esther Hicks. Originally, she was there, channeling Abraham eyes open in the first Secret movie but that part was taken out in the latest version. There are other great stories, though, which range from a homeless man who got “made”, a guy with one lightbulb who manifested $1M, the methods Olympic athletes use to win races, and how a victim made all his bullies in a dark alley disappear, for good. Your thoughts matter and this explains it in detail- even if you suffered a great physical accident, you can get up from it. Your experience is truly what you believe, and if you liked the Celestine Prophecy, this movie will blow your lid off. After you view the entire movie what follows is an extremely healthy thought : “what would I like to create for myself?” Plus, the trailer is PERF:
The Matrix (1999) – Lana & Lilly Wachowski – Could a blockbuster, based on work originally written by a sister who won her rights to reap rewards from this classic, be explained in quotes? Let’s try:
Morpheus: “This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill – the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill – you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.”
Morpheus: “The Matrix is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now, in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work… when you go to church… when you pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth. Neo: “What truth?” Morpheus: “That you are a slave, Neo. Like everyone else you were born into bondage. Into a prison that you cannot taste or see or touch. A prison for your mind.”
The Oracle: “You didn’t come here to make the choice. You’ve already made it. You’re here to try to understand why you made it.”
Potential: “Do not try and bend the spoon, that’s impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth. Then you’ll see, that it is not the spoon it bends, it is only yourself!”
Agent Smith: “Illusions, Mr. Anderson. Vagaries of perception. Temporary constructs of a feeble human intellect trying desperately to justify an existence that is without meaning or purpose. And all of them as artificial as the Matrix itself, although only a human mind could invent something as insipid as love.”
Trinity: “I know what you’ve been doing. I know why you hardly sleep, why you live alone, and why night after night you sit at your computer.”
THRIVE Movie – Global consolidation means worldwide solidifying of units into wholeness. If you haven’t come across Duane Elgin, Nassim Haramein, Steven Greer, Jack Kasher, Daniel Sheehan, Adam Trombly, Brian O’Leary, Vandana Shiva, John Gatto, Deepak Chopra, David Icke, Catherine Austin Fitts, G. Edward Griffin, Bill Still, John Perkins, Aqeela Sherrills, Evon Peter, Angel Kyodo Williams, Elisabet Sahtouris, Amy Goodman, and/or Barbara Marx Hubbard, you should. Translated into 27 languages, topics covered in this must-see Ubuntu-Movement-like-tutorial by Foster Gamble include energy, science, the Global Domination Agenda, E.T. phenomena and most importantly, how we can transition to a truly free society. There are visuals of benevolent city structures, revelations on crooks controlling trillions of dollars and explanations of “torus.” (A favorite word of the Orion Council!) On their website you can click “movie chapter summaries” to see the master list of topics. Most ironically though, a sociopathic person I wrote about in my book, Starseed Survival, actually sucked her teeth and rolled her eyes at me when she peeped one of my post-2012 shortcomings: “what, you haven’t seen THRIIIIIIVE!?!!?!?!?!?!”
Astral City (Nosso Lar) – After reading, “10 Reasons to Stay Alive“, and hearing me talk about this on YouNow a gazillion times, you are probably wondering why Krista didn’t stick with a seven for the title. It really bugged me, but eight is a power number and stretching your limits is important. This is where you stop having words, breaking out of the mind like a trip into the next dimension, yes it’s like that but more structured, for real. My Mexican-American Capricorn friend told me in his very dry, guru-like way, “Krista, you would like this movie.” Being a total movie-buff he was 100% on fleek with this recommendation. If a girl cries during a movie and her eyes turn into diamonds over a melting heart of God’s infinite love that means she will appreciate you for this. It’s such a mm-mmm-good movie. WHO KNEW there’d be so much subjective beauty on cities floating around our Earth, told in the account of a Brazilian doctor who commits suicide, ending up in kamaloka. (Tribe, this was channeled through a psychic medium as they have spirits in these cities trying to communicate with us sensitive ones through the Comunicação sector run by High Good Souls!) The lower and higher realms, by the way, which are described in my #1 book “The Laws of the Spirit World“, I talked about on the Spoon of Consciousness podcast interview (click here to see it on YouTube). There’s also an amazing anime movie which depicts the realms mentioned here, on Ambassador Ehani’s YouTube page, which I suggest as follow-up or a more child-friendly version. Just saying, The Laws of the Sun, The Laws of Eternity, and The Golden Laws are all really good ones by Ryuho Okawa (You’ll have a really fun time scrolling through the content)! In sum, astral travelers will probably feel “at home” watching this, pun intended, and many of you your purpose knocking!
Living colorfully means you make a mess of things but then you get it together. This is pretty much what happens when you shift brain hemispheres, clean out your handbag or see your kid rearranging their toys into special places. Just the simple act of putting things and thoughts in order can help us feel better, stay focused and creative with quality. Without much further ado here is a list of 7 tools to help you live minimally, innovate and remember everyday basics for wellness.
Organization Videos: I did not know professional organizers existed until YouTube. The best part is some of them are still in high school! They will teach you everything from how to make D.I.Y. notebooks to travel savings jars to maintaining a pantry with seven sisters. Even if you don’t live like they do, at least their energy is such that you’ll feel a resonance to their enthusiasm over cleanliness and order. I used to think it was corny that one of my grandparents put labels on their shelves but it actually helps you get through your sleepy morning routine sin problemas!
Breezy House Music: Slowly there is more ambient tuned to the heart chakra cycle per second hertz. The regular note “A” is 440HZ, which is not the same as the classical/ancient musician’s 432HZ! Amazingly, you can get sound sample apps that you can tune to that frequency. I have heard electronic music artist Michael Scalar uses this, but even if you don’t have this yet, keep enjoying music! I just discovered Jon Medina on Spotify, which is so happy and ethereal, you could just dance!
Carbs and Proteins: I was recommended to “carb up” by two Herbalife physical fitness coaches and “protein in the morning” by a therapist who taught meditation to Vietnam war vets. While I’m no nutritionist, I know it’s easier to recall information better right after you wake up, like crossword puzzles and psychic-spiritual information. When living and studying in Finland, we always had a big multifaceted midday lunch and that helped us to focus, also keeping students full who didn’t or couldn’t eat breakfast in the morning. If you’re a braniac who loves books and knowledge, recall that proteins maintain the tissues and organs of our bodies and carbohydrates are forms of sugars that feed our cells. You need these both for energy and repair. If you want to try out an awesome pea-plant protein my mom and I have used for years, shake a leg and click here (I get a commission!): http://staycurly.sevenpoint2.com/
Plant Medicine: It’s definitely true that the Earth needs more people who talk with plants (this is a God-given GIFT we have been persecuted for in the past) and the witches of herbal healing need to reveal themselves in the light! You can get any kind of tincture these days over the internet like vibropathics from Hanna’s Herb Shop or just do a search for your pains. For instance, one I got on Etsy helps me with menstrual cramps instantly (much better than Mid0l, sorry not sorry big pharma!), it’s called Sweet Relief by Sundial Medicinals. Furthermore, if you want to read about my experience with psychedelic plants for educational purposes, check out my latest book Starseed Survival (available in Kindle and paperback). What you should know is after I tried these a couple years ago, my brain has since then been permanently changed for the better. I’ve beaten fears and confronted my own thoughts, many which have been self-destructive. These are for peoples’ awareness and shamans who want to get it done and heal FOR REAL.
Wall Reminders: As a visual person, you can’t go wrong with big text that is up on the wall, in your face. One of the first things I got when starting work over the internet was a whiteboard. It was really small and could barely fit my huge list of ideas. My boyfriend helped push me to walk over to Staples and invest in a $34 one, which is really big and I’ve used it ever since. You can teach with it, make to-do lists, add art and my favorite: post-its! Post-its of different colors help you tackle tasks, jot down recommendations and manage shipments/client to-do’s/birthdays, etc. Use them for break-time lyrics, sudden dream goals, branding reminders and names/numbers! On my other wall I have my favorite calendar by Caroline Goldfarb who is known for her funny-celebrity-photo instagram account called @officialseanpenn.
Desktop Reminders: Here’s my Target tray [above]! It took a while to invest in this, but after seeing it all over Youtube on cute girls’ apartments’ coffee tables for their candles and pumpkins I had to. You can get a more affordable one on Amazon (click right here) and it’ll come to the same price since you add shipping. This tray has been used as a festival display, a while-cleaning organizer, a crystal arrangement and is now an “immediate items” space for my desk. No need to worry about lipsticks rolling onto the floor or misplacing that fisheye lens! Next, if you’re using the internet or a MAC, you’ll already have on your computer the Notes app and Google Docs in gmail. There’s also iCAL where you can see a monthly schedule. To break down a daily routine I recommend physical handwriting into a notebook (which I feel is a wonderment if you have anxiety). I just got my first life planner from Wonderlass but filled up my own writer witch notebook (available here on my Etsy shop now on sale for $7.50) and am thoroughly enjoying bullet journaling in a 7.5″ x 9.75″ moleskine classic.
A Sense of Humor: Sometimes the soles of your feet get dirty, dog drool gets whipped onto the wall and your glasses get foggy but guess what that is life. My Finnish-French friend once told me that Parisians believe a home should be “lived-in”, thus housing objects with meaning. I totally agree, not just because dinner at her house was the bomb, but it’s true if you want to visually motivate yourself because good memories make ya feel nice inside! Create energies of inspiration, curiosity or mind-expansion, where you keep all your most obscure, creepy, trippy items. Hold some of these unfathomable objects in your left, receiving hand. Do you sense anything from that crystal, perhaps a three-dimensional symbol emerging? Are you really sure she won’t mind that melting smiley face sticker on the mirror? Will he be okay with that talisman your great granny bought in Rio de Janeiro? If you live with other people, just become a minimalist a.k.a. get rid of anything that makes you feel like *peep* (that is also “feng shui of the mind” I came up with in Starring, You: A Self-Love Guide). All in all, this article has helped you forgive you and the energies you cohabitate with, so get back in that vortex, Esther! Laughter is the BEST medicine to even anybody out.
